Everyone who comments under a video on @onewordeach adds one word (one per person, no repeats), and every word goes into a grid, credited to whoever sent it. 21 words make a puzzle, and 1,050 make Volume 1, a printed puzzle book being built one word at a time. What is One Word Each?
A community word search written by its audience. Everyone who comments under a One Word Each video on YouTube adds one word, and every word goes into a puzzle, credited to the person who sent it. Each puzzle holds 21 words.
How do I add my word?
Comment a single word under any One Word Each video on YouTube. It’s one word per person, and no word twice: if two people send the same word, the earlier comment gets it. Words are 4 to 14 letters, A to Z.
Is it free?
Yes. Every puzzle is free to play in your browser and free to print. There is nothing to sign up for.
Can I print the puzzles?
Yes. Open a puzzle and choose Add to Print Set. The grid and the word list print in large 24pt type, and an answer key comes with it.
What are the unclaimed words?
Words we added so the puzzles keep pace with the channel. They show as unclaimed until someone comments one. Then it’s theirs, credited by name, in the same place in the puzzle.
Where do the words end up?
In Volume 1: 50 puzzles and 1,050 words, a printed puzzle book being built one word at a time. It isn’t published yet. Every word in it is credited to whoever sent it.
