Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We use a handful — most of them essential — and Google Analytics is the only third party that sets any. Here is the complete list.

EFFECTIVE JULY 7, 2026

_ga, _ga_*Analytics (Google)Up to 2 yearsGoogle Analytics — aggregate statistics about visits and pages. The only third-party cookies on the site.

Essential cookies are required for the Service to function (signing in, fair daily limits) and cannot be switched off within the site. Preference and functional cookies simply remember choices you made. None of our cookies are used for advertising or sold to anyone — see the Privacy Policy.

2. Browser storage (not cookies)

  • Print Set tray — puzzles you collect for printing are kept in your browser’s local storage, on your device only; they are never sent to our servers.
  • Interface hints — small counters that stop tips from repeating once you’ve seen them.

3. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how many people visit and which pages they use. It is the only third-party service that sets cookies here. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites with Google’s browser opt-out add-on.

4. Managing cookies

Every browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking essential cookies will break signing in and the daily free limits, but the public puzzles will still work. Questions: [email protected].
